A popular 15-year-old student has committed suicide after he reportedly faced expulsion and being placed on the sex offenders’ register simply for streaking at a high school football game.
Christian Adamek, from Huntsville, Alabama, hanged himself on October 2, a week after he was arrested for running naked across the Sparkman High football field during a game.
The teenager died two days later from his injuries and on Wednesday, friends and family gathered at a memorial service as they struggled to comprehend the beloved student’s death.
A video of Adamek streaking during a game against a rival team was posted on YouTube hours after the event and students took to Twitter to call him a ‘legend’.

‘Sparkman’s new slogan is gonna be “Welcome to Sparkman High School, Home of Christian Adamek”,’ one student wrote.
But school staff did not treat the situation so lightly.
Sparkman High Principal Michael Campbell told WHNT a day before the suicide attempt that the teen could face major repercussions because of his actions.
‘There’s the legal complications,’ Campbell said. ‘Public lewdness and court consequences outside of school with the legal system, as well as the school consequences that the school system has set up.’

In Alabama, indecent exposure is linked to the state’s sex offender laws, meaning that he could have found himself on the sex offenders register due to the streaking.
Campbell added that that the incident was not just a prank and needed to be treated seriously.
Sparkman High administrators even recommended that Adamek face a hearing in the Madison County court system to determine if formal charges would be filed, WHNT reported.
Adamek had also been disciplined by the school district but the details had not been made public.
The day before the suicide attempt, the principal had confirmed that Adamek was not at school and the teenager’s sister suggested on Twitter that Adamek faced expulsion, AL.com reported.

Campbell declined to comment on Adamek’s death but the Madison County school district issued a statement saying it had ‘received word that a Sparkman High School student has passed away’.
‘Our prayers and thoughts are with the family during this time of bereavement,’ the statement read.
The messages on Twitter have now turned from congratulatory to somber.
‘Praying for the Adamek family. Christian was so funny and nice. He will be missed by so many,’ one girl wrote.
The family – Adamek leaves behind his mother, Angela, and a sister and a brother – shared photos and memories online of the fun-loving teen, who was pictured posing and grinning at the camera.
At Wednesday’s memorial service, his Boy Scout Troop master, David Silvernail, said Adamek was a popular teenager who always had a smile on his face.

‘There are two kinds of people in the world; ones that brighten the room when they walk in and those that don’t,’ he said.
‘He was one that brightened the room when he walked in. That’s what I’ll always remember about Christian.’
His mother, Angela, thanked her son’s friends and said they could learn from his life, AL.com reported.
‘Remember to smile, don’t be afraid to do something goofy and remember the consequences of those actions, ask for help when you need it, ask for help if you think your friends need it if you don’t know what to do, be quirky, be happy, be smart,’ she said.

I think the sex offender law should be evaluated, this doesn’t seem like it should apply based on the circumstances, however, the expulsion thing probably would be up to the principal and the school board. It is technically indecent exposure, done in public, and would most likely be a juvenile level crime.

So if a girl streaked across a sporting arena she should also be convicted of crime, right? Equality before the law and all that, right?
So why is a female streaker NEVER prosecuted for “indecent exposure”?
Oh, that’s right. Because women are goddesses and men are monsters. How foolish of me to forget.

Lose the persecution complex. She probably would get the same charges, but women commit far fewer sex crimes in general, so you just hear about less of them. Read into that what you will.
I mostly just think it’s dumb that such a harsh penalty was put on a child.

Now..they do not. Women rape boys as often as men rape girls. Women are paedophiles at about the same rate men are paedophiles. We do not hear about them because these crimes are EXCUSED…not because they do not happen.
Further, by the legislated definitions of rape women rape MEN much more often than men rape women. Remember, women claim it is rape of the other person has had enough alcohol to impair their judgement so that meaningful consent is not given.
Therefore, every time a sober woman has sex with a man who has been drinking, according to women, she raped him. I, myself, by this definition was raped MANY times in my marriage.
If women are not willing to put my ex behind bars for 10 to 15 years then you must accept the FACT that you are liars and hypocrites in the 99.9% majority on the issue of equality before the law.
For the very reason you western women will NOT EVEN COME TO THE TABLE TO TALK we have decided to prosecute a war of return against you women.
Now. You are going to unconditionally surrender or you are going to have to fight us. And we are quite clear that the use of force, up to and including deadly force, is on the table.
Do you want to fight us men when we are prepared to use deadly force? Or will you unconditionally surrender? The choice is yours.
What you may no longer do is commit crimes against us men with impunity.

Our society is sick and young people suffer their collision with this programmed, unnatural and calcified system. The emperor without clothes makes free-minded people pay for expose his nonsenses.
I hope more people wake up and realize the emperor has no clothes, even when he try to make you believe he is wearing gold robes.

My question is this: How on earth is the principal taking this so seriously?? As a school administrator, he should know that boys this age do not have a completely matured pre-frontal cortex in their brain, which means that their “executive functions”, AKA decision making skills, are not fully functional. They can’t fully comprehend the consequences of their actions, and they certainly shouldn’t face legal ramifications for something that they did spontaneously and without malice or serious harm to anybody. Yeah, he should have been taught that this isn’t appropriate behavior by a short suspension or community service, but the sex offenders registry? This is the same kind of stupidity that gets an 18 year old put on the sex offenders registry for having a 16 year old girlfriend whose parents don’t like him. Basically, it’s preposterous and immoral, because the very administrator who is supposed to be protecting ALL of his students from harm caused the emotional turmoil that led this kid to take his life. He wasn’t even fully aware of what he was doing, and you want to throw him in jail and ruin his life?!

There was no intention of malice here. There should have been age appropriate consequences for this sort of prank yes, but treating him as a devious sex offender is ridiculous. As a parent myself, my heart goes out to the family of this young man.

Everyone knows that 15 year olds can’t fully comprehend the consequences of their actions. This is why parents supervise them 24/7, and it’s why so few make it to adulthood and avoid killing themselves after running out into traffic or jumping off roofs for fun. 15 year olds should never be punished, no matter how severe their crime, because it’s not reasonable to hold them responsible for their own actions … Not.
Reprimanding him was appropriate. Most kids deal with it and move on, but it’s very sad the way it ended this time.

America needs to get itself a ‘sense of humor transplant’. People have been ‘streaking’ for decades – as an act of surreal, absurdist humor. It’s got nothing to do with the kid’s ‘pre frontal cortex’ – it is a JOKE!!! Here in the UK it is a fairly normal occurrence to see adults streaking at soccer events, cricket matches, rugby tournaments – and political rallies. In all cases the ‘offender’ is taken away by the police, told to ‘cool it’ and sent home with a caution – no charges. It is just high spirits and people wanting to jerk us out of our robot-like subservience to authority. This boy’s suicide is an absolute tragedy; the loss of a young life and the wrecking of his family’s lives for a generation. All the school had to do was give him a detention, or make him pick up litter for an hour or two – and treat it like it should have been treated – a teenage joke. I hope this principal has nightmares for years about what his PC attitude has triggered. His moronic, robot-like behaviour is akin to that of a Russian KGB correctional institute than an American High School. He should try watching a few of those High School Movies to get a sense of the absurd again, or maybe a Monty Python injection would help?

women just like you have demanded that boys as young as TWELVE are tried as ADULTS while women who are ADULTS are consistently give the “womens-pass” for crimes because “she was upset”.
I have called on women to demand their sisters be treated as equal before the law for FIVE YEARS. And guess what? There is no ONE WOMAN OF NOTE in the west who will say women should be treated as equal before the law and is willing to sit on an all womens jury in an all womens court to make it so.
You western women are liars and hypocrites on the issue of equality before the law in the 99.9% majority. You refused to come to the table to discuss this issue. So we have claimed into existence a war of return which we are now starting to prosecute.
We HOPE to keep the war of return non-violent. But since you western women incite police to commit violence by proxy against us men day in and day out we are making it clear that violence, up to and including deadly force, is on the table. You women get the cops to kill us men….we will return the favour if you do not unconditionally surrender.
This lad is dead because of the pervasive man hatred perpetuated in western society BY WOMEN and some men.
Like I said…you were asked politely to cease and desist your war of aggression against us…now we have a mind to fight your war so that young men like this do not feel so hated on by the people of their society.
