30 Armed People Block Maritime Border Guard Detachment In Sevastopol

Thirty armed people have blocked a maritime guard detachment of the State Border Guard Service in Sevastopol (Crimea), reads a statement made by the Border Guard Service press service.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council Andrii Parubii claims Russian Federation’s Black Sea Fleet military are involved in the situation in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

Russian Black Sea Fleet refutes the allegation of Russian servicemen involved in the blocking of the Belbek airfield near Sevastopol.

Internal Affairs Minister Arsen Avakov accuses Russia of military invasion of Crimea.

On February 27 unknown gunmen seized the buildings of the Crimean Supreme Council at Karla Marksa Street and of the Council of Ministers in Kirova Avenue in Simferopol.
